A profound dedication to the land and an unwavering passion for table grapes

Experience and professionalism

RAIMSA GRAPES is a company rooted in family tradition, focused on the production and distribution of fresh table grapes. Located in the exquisite Valle del Medio Vinalopó, in the Spanish province of Alicante, our company combines centuries-old wisdom and modern cultivation techniques to offer unparalleled quality in our products.

The home of table grapes: the Valley of Grapes

Nestled in the beautiful Valley of the Grapes, a fertile and generous land between mountains and sea in La Romana, Alicante, RAIMSA cultivates with great care and attention to detail over thirty varieties of table grapes, with and without seeds. Our commitment to quality starts with cultivation, where we take care of every detail to ensure a product of excellence.

Thanks to this unique microclimate of mild temperatures, we are able to offer a distinctive product that delights the most demanding palates.

A legacy of love for the land and a passion for table grapes

For nearly five decades, RAIMSA has been a family business committed to growing table grapes. From planting through to harvesting and marketing, we have worked our lands with love and dedication to obtain extraordinary fruit with numerous properties and health benefits.

Covering 250 hectares, our plantations are located in the heart of the Vinalopó Valley, a region blessed with a unique microclimate of mild temperatures resulting in a fertile and abundant land. In our vineyards, we grow more than thirty varieties of table grapes, including those grown via the traditional technique of bagging the fruit on the vine.

But don’t stop there. We are also committed to innovation and the development of new varieties, both seeded and seedless, so as to continue to offer our customers an exceptional quality product. In short, our legacy of love for the land and our passion for table grapes continues to represent our primary motivation for working with dedication and commitment to the future.

Commitment to quality and care for the environment

At RAIMSA GRAPES, excellence in table grape production is something we take very seriously. We strive to follow strict food and workplace safety policies, and to provide exceptional service to our customers.
In addition, we care about the environment, and we work hard to ensure that our farming practices are sustainable and respectful of nature.

One of the ways we accomplish this is by using advanced irrigation techniques. All our plots have state-of-the-art drip irrigation systems, which allow us to carefully manage the amount of water we use. We rigorously monitor the quantity and quality of water that goes into each plot, to make sure our plants receive exactly what they need.

We are also committed to caring for the landscape around us. We have conducted scientific analysis of our terrain to determine whether our cultivation practices are suitable or if we need to make any changes. This allows us to improve the quality of the landscape, preserve the natural habitat and protect the fauna and flora of the area.

In short, at RAIMSA we are committed to quality and care for the environment. Our focus on sustainability and excellence in production has made us one of the most respected producers in the area, and we are proud to continue leading the way to a greener and more prosperous future.

At Raimsa we think seedless grapes are great

These are not genetically manipulated, but produced via an ancient practice called embryonic selection or hybridisation.

Fruit wasn’t made for humans to eat, but our ancestors loved it. The seeds inside the fruits aid their cultivation, but they can be irritating or even dangerous to eat.
That’s why we’ve been working for many years to grow seedless fruits, to make them easier and safer for everyone to eat, especially children.

Almost none of the fruits we eat today are 100% natural, they have all evolved over time. For example, carrots used to be purple, and now they’re orange!

Eating seedless fruits isn’t dangerous, in fact, it can have positive benefits, such as making the fruit easier to eat and meaning we can eat the central part as well.

At RAIMSA we believe that we shouldn’t shut ourselves off from advances in food technology. The new varieties are not artificial, they are simply newer than the old ones. Let’s keep moving forward!
